PORTFOLIO: www.markelcuena.comAs a child, I had an insatiable desire to explore and whenever my parents ask me, "Markel, where are you going?" I always reply "Off on an adventure!". That same passion for adventure still drives me today, and what better adventure than discovering new countries, meeting new people, exploring new projects, studying new fields, and tackling everything with the same childlike wonder with which I approached the world.This same passion for exploration and learning has helped me complete a variety of projects throughout my life, including recording an album, working as a magician, and completing various automotive design projects. Now, I'm excited to tackle my next challenge: entering the world of video games.Designing, creating, and innovating have always been at the core of my work, and what better way to explore those passions than in the dynamic and exciting world of video games? This is why in 2022 I decided to start on videogame design. I have studied a master's degree in video game design at U-tad University and I have already finished my first project Bugs N' Guns with my colleagues at BlinkShot. Currently, I'm working as level designer in Domenation from Blackmouth Games, creating a map for a battle royale game that will be released in 2024.I will approach all new challenges with the same enthusiasm and dedication that has driven me throughout my life. I'm eager to continue learning, growing, and exploring in this fascinating industry.
