Investigative Assistant
CurrentCurrent full-time employment, regular 40 hours per weekSupports an entire office with special focus on an assigned team; assists team members with supply inquires and other like administrative dutiesResponsible for properly utilizing the Case Management Tool (CMT) to conduct weekly closed case destruction and monthly case return for field agentsComplete monthly audit review of stored cases in line with current DoD (Department of Defense) guidelines and policiesAssist with Investigator and Supervisory Agent in Charge (SAC) inquiries related to administrative duties and tasksProvide daily case status reports to SACs for all incoming cases to the District (WMFO, Washington Metropolitan Field Office). Reviewing such reports to ensure that any change in case status (suspended, cases, reopened or discontinued) have been brought to the attention of the SACEnsures timely completion of daily tasks and workload of assigned team and other field agents as necessaryUtilizes Personnel Investigations Processing System (PIPS) daily to create reports of incoming case items to the team’s organization, changed assigned completion dates (ACDs) in line with supervisory approvalMonitor the working status field Agents through the SAC Workload Management Tool Review, edit and confirm the time and attendance of field agents in PIPS Manages spreadsheets related to government-owned vehicles (GOVs) maintenance and inventory, case management, office supplies and team rostersTrains new Investigative Assistants (IAs) in administrative and/or field work duties; additionally, created a binder dedicated to new training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for future IAsOther administrative duties as assigned by SAC
