Industrial Facility Proposed Purchase, Indiana: Retained to perform peer review of prior Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) where lending institution would not provide financing due to suspected insufficient evaluation. Peer review indicated not all recognized conditions had been evaluated including a conveyor tunnel that had an oily floor. By identifying and evaluating the missing RECs for further evaluation, client was able to obtain their financing.3. Identification of Residential Heating Oil Underground Storage Tank, Michigan: Resident of a home constructed in the early 1900s was unable to sell their property due to the potential for a heating oil underground storage tank (UST). Observed exterior and basement conditions that indicated potential for a UST to remain. Using the observations, owner was able to provide data needed for sale.0
