Responsible for the planning and execution of the overall marketing strategy, which included developing new community markets for student recruitment, managing budgets, analyzing marketing initiatives, and the training and mentoring of marketing staff. The community aspects included promotions of programs through building partnerships, presenting at information sessions and creating brand awareness through industry speaking engagements.• Mentored, trained and coached a team of 6 employees including a community team, digital team, and events team• Established new relationships with community partners, government sites and immigration centers across BC as well as maintain those relationships through regular sales visits and detailed follow-up• Developed and taught CareerConnect, a two-month complimentary certificate program, that resulted in over 60% of the students finding employment before program completion• Orchestrated teams of 20+ people during various community-based fairs, trade shows, direct selling initiatives, and semi-annual graduation ceremonies• Completed 3 major projects including integration of a new CRM tool, website and marketing automation tools using best practices and consultant recommendations • Strengthened departmental relationships between marketing team and inter-departmentally to optimize workflows
