I am providing architecture and technical leadership on making the systems in my domain continuously available (fault tolerance and continuous availability) during deployment). I am supporting change initiatives concerning Lean, Agile and DevOps; I am leading the Architecture & Design stream to provide business and technical architectures to support these approaches. I work with local and offshore design & development teams. I was the Solution Architect for Wex Europe on a pan European Fleet Fuel Card programme. This programme is migrating the card services for a major oil company to the in house suite of card & account management system from three legacy systems. I successfully delivered projects for Central Government, Local Government, the finance sector and manufacturing. Typically the projects required the co-ordination of contractors and commissioning of internal/external services. My consultancy role included bid management and bid support.

I was responsible for the multi-site network, systems, reprographics and telephony. I provided analysis, design, procurement, contractor/vendor management, project management, service and general management. I successfully delivered three major change programmes. I controlled a budget and reported to the Industrial Division Board. The Industrial Division provided Engineering, Construction, Environmental, Minerals and Insurance Services.

I provided systems management, design and implementation for a large team of Analytical and Design Engineers. The role included user support, project management and technical software development. I managed the introduction of the network and the migration to UNIX workstations.
