I joined NBC4's newsroom in May 2022 to help lead their 12-member digital team covering news in Columbus and central Ohio. Much of my work involves scouting story ideas, enterprising deeper-dig stories with court searches and open records requests, optimizing existing content for search and social media performance, creating HTML code widgets to make articles more interactive and digestible, and training new hires on Nexstar's software arsenal.I also serve as a Part 107 drone pilot for NBC4, giving an aerial perspective on our digital and broadcast coverage.

I was also a lead developer on FOX 43 AM Live, which debuted in May 2019 on KTMJ FOX 43.When directing, I utilized Ross Overdrive and Xpression Graphics to program automated cameras, videos, and graphic elements prior to the live broadcast, and then I ran the show in real-time. I also began serving as a digital content producer for KSNT.com and its social media pages. My content work ranged from writing articles, shooting photos and video, running digital live streams, and interviewing local agencies and people as a representative of the news team. I also created Spotify, Google Play and iTunes podcast syndication channels for Washburn Radio, which allowed playback of previously-aired talkshows created by the students. The station ran a soft launch in early May 2018 and broadcasted via an internet stream until going on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
