I have been implementing software systems for more than 40 years. After serving in the US Air Force in Computer Operations and after earning my Bachelor’s Degree from Bentley College (now Bentley University), I was hired into a “Big 8” accounting firm and passed the CPA exam on my first sitting. I also have a masters and spent six years with BBN (Bolt, Beranek, & Newman) – the real inventor of the Internet.My first accounting software implementation was Peachtree Software in 1983. Since then I have implemented MCBA on a Wang VS minicomputer, McCormick & Dodge on an IBM mainframe, Macola, Real Word, and Great Plains (now Microsoft Dynamics GP).I reside in Burlington, Massachusetts with my wife and six children.
