Designed and implemented of pharmacological research programs in Korea and New Jersey research centers for neuropharmacology, neurochemistry, psychopharmacology and medicinal chemistry. Scientific contributions included behavioral characterization of agonists and antagonists for the 5-HT1A, 5-HT2, 5-HT1D, and D1 and D3 dopaminergic receptors, and biochemical characterization of NK1/NK2 antagonists and ion channel associated excitatory amino acid receptor antagonists.
