Mark and his team developed the Rumple platform to enable AAA games to be successful without the game development teams having to worry about major services (commerce, telemetry, matchmaking, player presence, data persistence, and many others) or operations. Mark was also responsible for taking development and production IT from zero servers and no employees to hundreds of servers and more than fifty employees.The Rumble platform and operational infrastructure leverages Grails, MySQL, Kafka, Redis, Memcached, Hadoop, Python, Jabber, Git, Ganglia, and several other major system components. It is currently deployed on AWS infrastructure but is designed to work on other clouds or even on bare metal in a fully automated fashion.

Led engineering for Evant (now part of Manhattan Associates), a 200-person organization that sells enterprise applications to the Retail and Wholesale Industries. Mark oversaw a 60-person development team, four product lines, and three development offices (San Francisco, Atlanta, and Bangalore). While at Evant, Mark directly handled the launching of core product development activities in Bangalore for Evant and IBM, which went from conception to operational in four months.

ChiMu builds development tools for the Java marketplace and provides team and architectural leadership to other companies who need to improve their business value productivity.
