Starting from 2014 , I have taken role of SRE with cooperation and guidance of Quill.com team ( Staples partner at that time ) on a new platform and eCommerce applications .Supported migration and integration to new backends for some of the Staples units,Monitoring, Deployments and Support of 16 websites. Platform renewal : full reinstallation and re-organization of the application and databases, OS and database servers version upgrades, on about 40 servers . Automated deployments with Jenkins / Octopus.Experienced integration with Akamai services as CDN. Latest mission ( August 2020 to September 2021 )Helping with the transition of Staples units to different new platforms and solutions, until full decomission of the central platform . Earlier ( 2004 - 2014 ) European support on e-Commerce websites for the Online channel (Staples Direct)Migration of all existing local websites hosted by 3rd part vendors, to a new common platform.Monitoring and support infrastructures and local business team activities Small developments / adding features to the ASP websites Managing and supporting ETL interfaces with local business team ( content uploads / order integration to back-end systems and ERP ) Deployment : websites and applications releases. Migrations to new hardware and technologies ( upgrading to Microsoft new OS, SQL and Framework versions )
