Delafoil is a local Company supplying the Global Television Industry with deep drawn CRT components.; Responsible for all production and shop floor issues, including staffing, scheduling, safety and long range planning.Improved manufacturing cell concept on two new production lines achieving a 15% - 18% per unit cost reduction by increasing cell productivity.Changed method for in-process material tracking which enabled both our customers and us to tie each drawn part to the original Mill Coil Certification.Designed and implemented a defective materials identification and deposition system which achieved annual savings of $30 - $45M as well as raw material inventory reduction.Solved a customer problem with auto feeding to a robotic application through process improvement and training, which saved design, and tooling costs.Developed a new planning format to project long term man-hour requirements.
