Pure Cremation is one of the companies within the group. Pure Cremation is the UK's leading independent provider of direct cremation, and end of life planning.

As CFO of Serocor, my role was to take an active interest in supporting the MDs and management teams across the group, helping them to develop their businesses whilst ensuring that the group develops and exceeds its five year business plan. I actively promoted the capability of the Serocor group whilst also assisting the subsidiary brands in representations with staff, clients and industry bodies. In addition my role had direct responsibility for providing the group's shared services functions including finance, IT, HR and legal & compliance.

I joined ARM in late 2006, keen to help repeat my previous success in an aggressively growing business. I'm responsible for all aspects of ARM’s financial systems and the control and reporting of our business.At ARM I'm also tasked with reviewing and enhancing internal controls and commercial processes, ensuring best practice and good corporate governance throughout the organisation.

I am an associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators and previously worked as Finance Director for the GAME stores group, the listed high street retailer with a turnover of over £600 million.After 5 years working in practice at a mid-sized Chartered Accountancy Practice, I joined GAME in 1993 at a time when the company only operated 27 stores with a turnover of £15 million. I gained invaluable experience in growing business helping the group expand to 700 stores across 6 countries, and a turnover of £600 million.
