I am an estate planning attorney who has worked with thousands of families of all backgrounds. As a management consultant-turned lawyer, I have a unique background and skill set. I am a nationally-published, award-winning legal speaker and writer. My online legal educational videos have been seen by 100s of thousands. I focus on client relationships, firm strategy, and thought leadership in the fields of estate planning, elder law, and multigenerational planning. I worked full time for several years at the Monitor Group (now part of Deloitte) in Santa Monica, CA. Started in the general management consulting practice, then Monitor Ventures - working on technology commercialization, strategy for early stage startups and due diligence for early stage investments. Much of my independent consulting was with Monitor's National Defense practice for US Government agencies and major defense contractors, both in a project management and support capacity, and for Ferrazzi Greenlight on a project for a Fortune 50 corporation on organizational change. I graduated with a degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford, and later from the 4 year evening program at Loyola Law School while working full time. I graduated in the top 10 in my class (Cum Laude, Order of the Coif) and was selected as commencement speaker.
