• Develops and enhance competence of pool engineers on their Technical, Fundamental and Management skills.• Manages pool engineers and allocate resources to support other groups on projects, integration and operations in the CS Core Network.• Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities and projects with Network Operations, Business and Vendor counterparts to ensure a smooth and timely implementation of service in the live system.• Support for maintenance of the Test Lab by monitoring and installation of hardware and software patch upgrade of equipment. • Collaborates with Engineering and Field Support Operations in formulating the method of procedure for planned change activities and projects in the network.• Presents and align Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation for planned change activities for all systems to the stakeholders, activity proponent, activity implementers, system operations and front liners to ensure end-to-end handling and preparedness.• Analyzes and assesses the risk of implementing a planned activity and its impact on the entire network.• Follow through on initiatives after the implementation phase to ensure no adverse effects on services and subscriber experience.• Supports, reviews and collaborates with other groups on planning the CS Core Network, integrating roadmaps of emerging core technologies and alternatives.• Handles HLR Testbed database by manual provisioning AUC and HLR data such as Basic, Supplementary, GPRS, IN services and other subscriber profile-related parameters. Manages also HLR inventory by monthly cleanup of expired and unused test number.
