I am a partner in Seyfarth Shaw's Sacramento office, with extensive experience defending employers through verdict in the full range of employment disputes. I have tried cases throughout California in the state and federal courts, including claims for age, disability, race and sex discrimination, failure to accommodate disability, sexual and racial harassment, retaliation, independent contractor misclassification, exempt status misclassification, wage and hour claims, defamation and breach of contract. I devote a substantial part of my practice to the defense of collective, class and hybrid actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage & hour laws including PAGA, and have class action trial experience. I routinely advise employers in all areas of federal and state labor and employment law compliance, including ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA and NLRA issues.
