Current- Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of Compellent enterprise Storage Area Networks, Windows Server farms, VMware ESXi, Backups, Disaster Recovery, and Active Directory, Barracuda Load.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the San Diego City Employees’ Retirement System IT infrastructure managing 100+ Servers 7/24/365.
- Successfully migrated over 100+ computer systems from Windows 2003 to Windows 2016 on HP Compaq Proliant DL and Blade servers and VM machines.
- Project and Technical lead on the implementation and migration of virtual server farms using VMware. This project helped reduce the datacenter cost by 50% per year and speed up the implementation and development of new.
- Architected an enterprise infrastructure solution to accommodate high storage and bandwidth demand throughout the City of San Diego to help reduce the overall storage cost by 45% per year and to improve capacity.
- Implemented elegant and easy-to-use network monitoring system to provide detailed reports and allow for proactive monitoring. Led the setup and installation of Adobe Connect Server and configured for Single-Sign-On.
