Experienced zoological leader with practical and long term experience developing teams, projects and collaborations within tourism and zoological and conservation organisations. Having worked as Head of Zoological Operations overseeing visitor engagement, animal and project teams for ZSl. I now work as zoological operations director for Wildwood Trust and have been responsible for designing and constructing the infrastructure for the first UK based bison project as well as sourcing, importing and introducing bison to form a new herd. I oversee operations across sites to insure health and safety, operational proficiency, visitor expectation and team development requirements are exceptional, I have extensive experience of species planning, carnivore management and safety implementation,l and team building. My experience is widely sought for consultancy and mentorship. I have worked in this capacity across China and the Middle East on large nature based projects that have focused on animal welfare, animal rescue, zoological development, structure, emergency planning, risk management and curating.Skilled in Wildlife Management, Environmental Issues, Native Species, Animal Welfare, Biodiversity, and Environmental Awareness. I am a leadership professional who invests in teams and individuals to develop World Class animal, education, health and safety and project teams.
