Engineering for industry-leading manufacturer of heavy duty on-road and off-road engines, transmissions and drive axles.* Led Engine Displacement Team focused on reliability growth and product validation. Managed department employees/contractors during company’s growth period. * Created internal failure reporting system to track data/metrics for predictive analysis and reporting (including warranty data).* Tested and evaluated entire Class 5-8 vehicles and vehicle systems including multiple remote, extreme environment test programs. * Defined, planned and executed engine, chassis and drivetrain projects ranging from fuel system to 40 vehicle test fleet system.* Developed customer demonstration unit programs (plant build – customer delivery) for each vehicle launch. Provided manufacturing engineering leadership for the world’s leading racing crankshaft and rotating assembly manufacturer.* Defined and developed quotes for new work. * Product lines expanded to include all major racing series (NASCAR, Formula 1, MotoGP, IRL, Champcar, etc.) * Managed company-wide tooling and tooling design.* Oversaw international design process and collaborators in Europe, U.K. and Japan.* Directed facility planning, capital purchases and human resource planning.
