Responsibilities include designing water distribution systems, sewer collection systems, and multi-use trails. In addition to the design, I oversee bidding and construction administration of those projects. When requested by our clients, I conduct utility rate studies and present analysis and recommendations to the local government. I oversee the certifying of state mandated annual Water Loss Audits for several clients. I help clients secure state and federal funding for projects, including submitting applications and engineering reports. I also oversee interns and new engineers.

As the Training Officer, I oversaw all training of new employees. This usually included the actual personal training of each new hire. I also developed a new training program that was approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and met the requirements of The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services (CAMTS). As an Operational Instructor, I was one of the employees that helped train new employees. I also maintained all duties as a Communication Specialist in addition to the new responsibilities.

As a Communications Specialist, I answered phone requests for air ambulance transports from hospitals and emergency services. Then arranged the best transportation available and tracked the mission from initiation to completion using computer software to track aircraft and make notifications to all involved hospitals and services. Safety was our priority. Our service used rotor-wing and fixed-wing aircraft throughout the Midwest.

Worked in Dispatch at St. Francis Campus, I coordinated EagleMed flights, incoming EMS traffic to the ER, physician consults from outlying hospitals, and our own critical care transport team.

I worked on the critical care ground transport team where I would transport patients from one campus to another within Via Christi's network of hospitals as a driver and as an emergency medical technician. Quick and efficient transportation varied from stable patients being transferred for scheduled treatments to trauma patients with gunshot wounds.
