Using my background in Improv and Sketch Comedy Writing I worked as a creative catalyst in charting new ideas for Atlassian – in it's stories, creative execution, and processes. I spent most of my time Writing, Executive Producing and leading the in-house and agency teams that created videos used in Atlassian brand campaigns, demonstrations, and social promotions. From lighthearted and fun productions like our annual April Fools campaign to big budget video productions that got tens of millions of views on YouTube, I am able to combine strategic thinking with execution to take creative projects from start to finish with a focus on effective story telling and driving action after viewing.

Looked after the Atlassian web properties and sales funnel through a time of explosive growth.Managed and grew the creative teams behind website development, copywriting, design and video from 2 people to 15 by hiring top level talent.During this time I led the team through a complete redesign of atlassian.com. This redesign included a migration of all website content from a custom built site to a content management system. Being on a content management system allowed us to delegate content ownership across the team, as well as internationalize the content in our funnel to more effectively serve our international customers.

The ideal candidate is a wizard - unusually creative, incredibly resourceful – and possesses a MacGyver-like zeal for producing something from nothing. This person will create simple illustrations of what’s possible, which will guide more detailed demonstrations developed by the sales engineering organization, and serve as prototypes developed used to inform product direction.
