Hi all! Thanks for reading my Summary!First, a little about me personally: I live in beautiful Louisville, Kentucky with my awesome wife and three amazing kids.From a professional standpoint, I've been coding for several years, and have had the privilege to work across a variety of technologies. I see myself as a hybrid of engineer and leader, and enjoy working in several different roles. I've been given the opportunity to work in both technical and business / product roles, which has given me the ability to speak both "languages" and see challenges from multiple perspectives. Right now I have the amazing privilege of leading the Corporate Solutions team at Papa Johns. This amazingly talented team of engineers, business analysts, testers, and apprentices is responsible for a wide range of applications supporting our People Experience, Legal, and Learning and Development teams, as well as several applications used by our restaurants both in the U.S. and internationally. I also have the opportunity to teach on an adjunct basis at both Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC), where I teach CIT170 (Database Fundamentals), and at the University of Louisville, where I teach BUS201 (Professional Development). This gives me the chance to interact with and assist the next generation as they begin their journeys!Additionally, I have the privilege of chairing the board of directors for the bit502 program. bit502 is a 2-year apprenticeship-style program that offers a path to a rewarding career in technology for those for whom the traditional 4-year computer science degree path may not be feasible. In this program, apprentices attend school online and work for their sponsor company 4 days a week. At the completion of the 2 years, they receive an Associate's degree in Computer and Information Technology (CIT) from JCTC *and* they have 2 years of real-world experience under their belt! I also serve as the program lead for Papa Johns' bit502 program.In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my wife, doing our best to wrangle our kids, writing (I have several self-published books out - I think they're okay) - and volunteering. I have had the opportunity to act the Blood Program Leader for several Red Cross blood drives and be the point person for multiple years participation in the Pegasus Parade that kicks off Derby Week in Louisville.
