Joining the non-profit in March of 2020, my voluntary responsibilities have included, but are not limited to, many aspects of IT including technology recommendations, implementations, and troubleshooting, social account strategy and optimization, content creation, and more. The Cloud Security Alliance is a non-profit organization formed to promote the use of best practices for providing security assurance within Cloud Computing and provide education on the uses of Cloud Computing to help secure all other forms of computing.

My responsibilities with Toppan Merrill included but were not limited to maintenance, organization, and presentation of integral company-wide documentation (policies, standards, and processes), particularly for auditing and certification purposes (ISO, SOC2 Type II, HITRUST). I also helped to facilitate these recurring audits and certifications. Furthermore, I aided in the execution and delivery of client engagement(s), audits, and IT assessments in relation to security and compliance. My role required exposure, communication, and facilitation with nearly all middle and upper management at Toppan Merrill. Toppan Merrill delivers premier, technology-driven solutions to more efficiently and accurately communicate mission-critical content. My role within Toppan Merrill was a project controller and information technology security and compliance analyst. I provided value through streamlining and automating audit certifications and related activities, client engagements, company documentation, and evidence collection processes.

Keyot, a management consulting firm, placed me with Merrill Corporation, an information and data security company located in Saint Paul, MN. My job within Merrill was a project controller/information security analyst on the security and compliance team. I was responsible for policy, standard, process, and guideline documentation that are integral to business operations, particularly for auditing and certification purposes (ISO, SOC2 Type II, HITRUST, etc), along with other IT and security duties. During my time at Merrill, I coordinated with management across the organization and the world to gather and update documentation, construct a centralized "source of truth", and facilitate audit certifications and various, related duties. My focus at Merrill was to streamline the auditing, documentation, and evidence processes. I utilized Microsoft PowerApps and Flow to create and implement an automated evidence collection process for the company in order to gain certification.

I was fortunate to connect with The Catch Company in the capacity of a freelance/individual content contributor. My role is to produce professionally written content on a monthly basis for The Catch Company's website and media outlets on a variety of fishing and outdoor-related topics.

My goal is to ensure the operational success of CLN both in the short and long run. My duties include, but are not limited to, communicating with other executive members for smooth internal operations, interaction with current and prospective members to further the reach and effectiveness of the Network, management and regulation of business activities, and overall business/brand development. I also continue to execute my previous role as Marketing Director, where I control, create, and manage the entire social media platform, company website, and any and all marketing strategies. My role is to continuously improve our company's brand image and highlight our successes through various marketing techniques and technology. Through the creation and execution of the company's marketing strategy, social media accounts, traditional marketing, and user-friendly website, I have effectively improved our company's brand image, efficiency, and revenue.

I am the founder and president of the College of St. Benedict/St. John's University Fishing Team. I organize, plan, and execute all operations of the team including but not limited to sponsorships, tournament competition, membership, and funding.

The Orientation Leader position at CSB/SJU is a highly sought after and fulfilling position. OLs are the first faces incoming first-year students see. As an OL, I attend a week long training session, help move first-years into their residences, facilitate a 4 day Orientation program, and remain a resource to the first-years the entirety of my time at CSB/SJU. On an individual level, I lead a group of 10-15 Johnnies through the Orientation program. I coordinate and my group interacts with a sister-Bennie group and we work together through various events, speakers, and activities to get first-year students acclimated to their new, collegiate environment. I was fortunate to be chosen to be an Orientation Leader three years in a row.

In Tune Marine reached out to me to audit, manage, and oversee their digital media operations on a consultative basis. I plan and create creative digital content in the form of video, written content, and graphics in an effort to help this local marine dealership sell more products and services. I oversee their digital platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google+ and create and manage digital ads. I also analyze web traffic to InTuneMarine.com to help the company optimize their website performance and convert leads to sales. I work closely with numerous sales representatives and administration to deliver the best content and user experience possible to potential and existing customers and create a long-lasting, respectable brand image.

I was in charge of editing and uploading content from In-Fisherman Magazine to In-Fisherman.com through the back end of WordPress. In this process I became proficient with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and WordPress content and site editing tools. I was also responsible for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of online content as well as embedding related content within new content.Additionally, I was given administrative privileges regarding In-Fisherman's social media, primarily Facebook. I analyzed industry trends both internally and externally to identify a preferred social media strategy for the company. This included sharing relevant content at appropriately scheduled times, interacting with various influencers and competitor Pages, analyzing and optimizing the company's reach and engagement, and more.

My primary responsibility was customer care/service within the fishing department. I was to help the customer find what he/she was looking for, answer any and all questions about all things outdoors, mediate customer concern and conflict, and make the customers shopping experience more enjoyable. I also was held responsible for stocking and organization of the sales floor within the fishing department as well as other departments like apparel, footwear, camping, etc. I was expected to cooperate and coordinate with the entire Gander Mountain sales team to provide all customers with the best outdoor shopping experience possible.
