FastRope merged with ThinkNimble in 2021.I was a Co-Founder and Head of Technology and Product at BeClose, a health tech company that promoted healthy, independent living with custom IoT hardware and AI-powered cloud services. Proving efficacy in numerous studies, including a CMS CMMI grant, BeClose gained full reimbursement by public payors throughout North America and partnered with private payors and large providers, such as United Healthcare and Partners HealthCare. BeClose was featured in TechCrunch, Fast Company, VentureBeat, The New York Times, CNN, NPR, and USA Today. In 2014, BeClose merged with its technology partner and strategic investor, Alarm.com. I spearheaded strategic special projects, led platforms and health innovations, and reported to the C-suite during the Alarm.com IPO in 2015.I completed my PhD in electrical engineering as an ARCS Scholar at UVA, where I designed and applied wearable sensors to better diagnose and treat movement disorders resulting from Parkinson’s and essential tremor, NPH, MS, and MTBI.
