Nand Flash Product Engineering ManagerMicron Technology Feb 1992 - Jan 2008Boise, Idaho, UsI was brought in to Micron to work on a specific technology being developed and using Generic Array Logic that I had worked on at Lattice Semiconductor. After proving the technology, I was assigned to bring up the NOR Flash Product Engineering group. We grew this group from about 5 people to > 125 people. This expanded to include Wireless Flash about the time that I began the NAND Flash Product Engineering group. Starting with 5 people we grew to about 200 in 4 years. We successfully partnered with Intel in a joint venture which launched IMFT. A year later I retired from Semiconductor Engineering and started a medical recruiting company, Alpine Medical Careers.
