My responsibilities included conducting site visits to all company facilities and conducting detailed inspections making recommendations for change in order to make our facilities safer places to work as well as compliant with all state and federal regulations. My inspections included facilities and jobsites (OSHA regulations) as well as vehicles owned as a part of the company fleet (DOT and state vehicle code regulations). I was responsible for the review and all necessary modifications to the company Health and Safety Procedures, including all required corporate policies and procedures (IIPP, EAP, etc...). I created all company training programs involved in the safety program and delivered training in both “train-the-trainer” situations with supervisors and managers as well as direct classroom training with line level employees.
