I joined the Milton Keynes office as a new partner in October 1997 where I built a client portfolio from a zero base. I was responsible for the offices business development initiatives and hosted regular seminars and breakfast meetings. In that time I built lasting business connections and friendships which remain today.

Secondment to our national technical department playing a link role between technical developments and market facing collateral . The role crossed all technical disciplines within the firm. The materials ranged from fact sheets, full seminar packs and new service line product launches.In addition in this role I produced and edited the firms internal business advisory magazine and commissioned and edited articles.

I joined Grant Thornton as a trainee but was promoted to manager after a couple of years. I had a mixed portfolio of clients, including those in the media and leisure sector.
