About Mark Hewson

I have worked in the IT industry for 16 years and have always had an interest in Information Security. I keep myself up to date with all the latest vulnerabilities and attacks to ensure that lessons learnt by other businesses do not get repeated. I deal confidently with all levels of management within business unit, divisional and group levels ensuring that I communicate in a manner relevant to the audience. I have dealt with customers both in a consultancy role and as a presenter at a user group conference for our education sector customers on PCI DSS and how it relates to them. I always ensure that when I provide advice I explain the reasoning behind my decisions so that others may develop more security awareness and be better placed to deal with similar situations in the future. Standards/Certification I have worked with- PCI DSS v2.0- PA DSS v2.0- PCI P2PE v1.1- ISO27001:2005-
