I work on Booz Allen's San Diego-based Health team providing Behavioral Health subject matter expertise on projects for clients such as the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) and the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED). My primarily focus is on behavioral health program development and evaluation and on the dissemination of empirically-supported behavioral health treatments.

Provided Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Imagery Rehearsal Therapy (IRT) for nightmares to patients enrolled in a research study looking at effectiveness of treatment of trauma-related sleep problems. Assisted in research design and protocol development.

Provided mental health assessment and treatment services in the Behavioral Medicine and Military Sexual Trauma clinics at the San Diego VA Medical Center.

Developed legislative proposals, planned hearings and carried out Congressional oversight functions. Provided counsel and recommendations to Committee Chairman on Veterans mental health policy.
