About Mark Himsworth

I have been the Business Manager at NatWest's Arnold branch since 2005 and until recently have managed a portfolio of new and existing clients with specific emphasis on new business acquisitions. Whilst I have been with NatWest since August 1982 I have seen many changes in banking culture over the years and even interest rates as high as 26% ! Due to the ever changing climate in banking I am due to leave on Friday 10th June after what is nearly 34 years.Whilst this may be daunting in one way it is also exciting in many others and I am firmly of the opinion 'there is life out there' and that when one door closes others will certainly open; and so it has proved. New opportunities beckon around the corner with barely a break to breathe - let's see what happens !

Having taken voluntary redundancy after nearly 34 years with NatWest I have now got several roles...As well as paid employment for 2 days per week I am also self employed for some of my time. Working in admin and also the not for profit/charitable sector is massively rewarding.Current roles include Financial Admin at Muzikit Limited and Muzika Charitable Trust and support worker at Nottingham Nightstop - a charity working to support homeless young people aged 16-25
