Quellan is the market leader in High Perfomance Computing Active Copper Cabling. Quellan high performance analog chips that enable copper cables to reach 11 GBS at reaches up to 15 meters. Quellan developed active copper cables for SFP+, QSFP, and mini-SAS applications. The cables are installed in 3 of the top 5 supercomputers worldwide. I mananged the supply chain for chips, electronic sub-assemblies, and cable harnesses. I had the Planning, Customer Service, Purchaing, Quality, Engineering, and IT functions reporting to me. Quellan was acquired by Intersil Inc in August of 2009. I completed the integration of Quellan into Intersil in February of 2010.

RF Micro Devices is world leading supplier of RF Power Amplifiers for the wireless handset market. RFMD provides products for WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS, and component level RF products. RFMD is the market leader in supplying Gallium Arsenide products.• Managed assimilation of Resonext and SiliconWave into RFMD in 3 months including Supply Chain, IT, finance, purchasing, quality, and HR systems.• Integrated Greensboro, San Diego, Irvine, and San Jose Operations personnel into a single organizational entity. Responsible for Product & Test Engineering, Production Control, and Product Line Quality Engineering.• Primary responsibility to establish and transition outsource supply chain strategies for WLAN,GPS, Wireless Networking Components, and Blue Tooth products resulting in successful product ramps that are generating over $6 million per month in revenue. Included source selection and supply agreement for wafer fabrication, assembly, test platforms, and tape & reel.

LED Engin is an emerging leader in solid state lighting solutions for consumer electronics, medical, and dental applications. • In 4 months, designed, built, and installed database systems to manage sales order entry, inventory tracking, line loading, and financial reporting for bookings, backlog, billings, and inventory of finished goods, WIP, and raw materials. • Processed more than 300 orders from 50 customers, $100,000 in revenue, and 20,000 units in the first two months of operations with the new database system.

Resonext developed innovative Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) semiconductor products using a rich IP portfolio and core competency in Radio-Frequency (RF) on CMOS Technology, Modem and Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Media Access Controller (MAC), Wireless Networking, and Protocol Stack Software. Resonext was acquired by RFMD in Dec ’02.• Turned around struggling ATE test development projects on RF transceiver and Base band/MAC processor to complete production test release in 5 months.• Completely re-built product cost modeling to identify realistic product cost and provide cost objectives for new product design and manufacturing.• Established 100% outsourced, turnkey manufacturing process.• Established MRP system, supplier forecasting, procurement agreements, and second source capability for wafer fabrication, assembly, and electrical testing.

Sage was a recognized leader in the development of highly integrated, system-on-a-chip, video processing engines for digital desktop Flat Panel LCD Monitors, High Definition Televisions, and High Resolution DVD Systems. Sage was acquired by Genesis Microchip in Feb ’02.• Completed transition from turnkey ASIC to Customer-Owned-Tooling (COT) manufacturing model in 5 months.• Primary responsibilities include global supply chain management, inventory and cost control, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and revenue fulfillment.• Built the IC Operations organization. Recruited technical staff and planning personnel. Established the inventory and planning strategies and reporting mechanisms.• Introduced two new retail video processing systems under the Faroudja Labs label.

• Salvaged a difficult situation for the corporation by overcoming dishevels of a re-structuring that stimulated the departure of an entire engineering department. Hired and trained 9 Product engineers in 9 months as part of a staff of 35 including 4 managers. Responsible for annual budget of $5M.• Overcame cultural resistance and geographical challenges to transfer 58 products (acquired from Comlinear merger) to offshore manufacturing in 1 year. Saving the corporation $6M in annual operating expense as part of the assimilation of the Comlinear acquisition.

• Achieved 25% PBT and 11% sales growth. Achieve 98% on-time product delivery. Personally involved with customer support for delivery and quality challenges.
