In this position, I was planning/coordinating the study start from the beginning of September, including with practical tasks that ended in December. A part of this job was being able to hire and manage 32 tutors which had to be informed and instructed the program which was created for the students. This has included anything from asking from fundings of local stores at Aalborg to a dedicated event, to coordinate a huge event with overnight sleeping and making sure everyone had their needs fulfilled in food and spaces to sleep.In this position, a high-quality control had to be ensured, as even the smallest mistakes could lead to students feeling forgotten, or even feel like their expectations were let down. To coordinate an event like this, communication and effectively using CRM systems to keep track of events and students were of high importance as well.Furthermore, this entire month I was also working closely together especially with CA-akasse and DJØF in collaboration to make sure the new students could get the best start of their new education. Lastly, the economic perspective also always had to balance, as this was mainly funded by AAU, the budget had to be kept tight and organized, to be able to present the actual costs and room for improvement for the next years to come.
