ESSI was the wind-down entity created after the acquisition of EquaTerra by KPMG in February 2011 to administer the distribution of funds to shareholders and formally dissolve the company after escrows and remaining liabilities are extinguished.

After three years as CEO at Cardon Outreach, I spent three months assisting the company to make the transition to its next CEO. It was an exciting, enjoyable and successful time in my life, and I handed over a business transformed from a family company to a modern corporate enterprise, that had grown substantially in both revenues and profitability, that had completed and integrated a couple of strategic acquisitions, that was a top three player in its space, and that was platformed and poised for rapid expansion. The company was sold to MedData in an extraordinarily successful exit.

In my three years as CEO, I transformed Cardon Outreach from a family firm into an effective, efficient, well-managed and dynamic growth business. Founding investor and the first CEO of Morgan Chambers PLC, a boutique firm that created the IT sourcing advisory space in the UK, which he took from startup to European market dominance. After 6 years as CEO with a successful track record of both acquisitive and organic growth, which included starting the US business unit in 1997, Mark negotiated a planned exit while retaining a substantial investment. Morgan Chambers was acquired by EquaTerra in 2007.
