Part of core team who build and activated 5 Regional Uplink Centers, leading the rollout of MPEG4-HD Local Services across the US. Determined facilities buildout requirements and led sub-contractors during construction and light-up phases of the project at 5 different Uplink Center locations. (Spokane, New Braunfels, Monee and Gilbert).Ensured broadcast and signal delivery platform was in full compliance with FCC, FAA requirements defined for DBS services. Led infrastructure modifications including rollout of MPEG4-HD upgrades, compression and baseband upgrades, and transport stream modernization. Ongoing Conditional Access improvements and anti-piracy counter measures, including validation and vulnerability testing. After proposing the adaption of Scaled Agile (SAFe) in our engineering division I've had a great deal of success accelerating our delivery while improving predictability and have found that leading an Agile Release Train (ART) is very rewarding and has improved collaboration and visibility (to planning, risk management, and development progress) significantly.
