During 2012 I was invited back to SHU to become an Honorary Fellow. I am very proud to hold this position and offer my support to the institution where my career began.

Following the 2009 Governing Council elections I was elected to a matrics membership seat representing the UK. The Governing Council is chaired by the current RICS President.

RICS matrics (formally the JO) is a voice and networking group for members with less than ten years post chartered qualification experiance.

Joined Knight Frank to assist in the establishment of a Building Consultancy department for the Bristol Office. Responsibilities ranged from the appointment and training of Graduate Surveyors, through to business development, in addition to the daily running of jobs. A pivotal role was held as lead surveyor completing the due diligence for a £20m acquisition of a Bristol Industrial Estate, on behalf of SEGRO.

As a graduate, I joined Colliers and undertook the Assessment of Professional Competence to become Chartered in 2004. Swiftly progressing from Graduate to Senior Surveyor, working on a number of high profile projects. Clients included public sector bodies such as the probation service and Dawnay Day Hotels completing due diligence advice for sites across the United Kingdom and Europe.

As part of the Building Surveying sandwich degree, I undertook a year's placement with Purcell Miller Tritton, working closely on concept schemes and projects alongside local planners and heritage funds.
