At Brevard Community Church, I am growing spiritually, as a leader and having a blast!

• Developed an inspiring, healthy staff culture and led a staff of 16 people.• Managed a $3.1 million-dollar campus-operating budget.• Equipped and structured numerous teams to accomplish ministry. Volunteers were the heartbeat of NewPointe Dover. • Taught weekly at Campus Groups & Discover Events, which led people to their next step with Jesus.• Energized local missions by collaborating with community organizations. Raised $73,000 in one Sunday casting vision to support homelessness and hunger efforts in Northeast Ohio.• Witnessed 189 people ask Jesus to be the forgiver of their sins and leader of their lives in one ministry year.

- Expanded Lead Pastor’s preaching ministry by being primary communicator in his absence- Restructured current staff and hired, trained and equipped additional staff for continued growth- Started, led and preached a Saturday night service for two years. This allowed us to keep reaching people until we could build. - Developed the C.A.R.E. ministry that mobilized the majority of Mud Creek members to use their spiritual gifts to accomplish the Great Commission. Upon writing the C.A.R.E. Implementation Manual this model of ministry has been duplicated in 100’s of churches. - Led and cast vision for a 2.2 million dollar campus enhancement project helping us do more community and domestic missions. Project included; sanctuary seating, land purchase, construction of a family park and a mission’s impact center. - Aligned with Samaritan’s Purse Int. that quickly mobilize members to respond to natural disasters. In the past 8 years Mud Creek has been represented at every US disaster and most global tragedies. - Communicated Mud Creek’s vision and story through various media by creating a promotion path for leadership. Set up and maintained our social media strategy and system. - Re-created our guest welcome strategy and systems that tripled the amount of volunteers. This project also included evaluating our member journey and standardizing that process across all departments. - Partnered with Compassion Int. allowing our congregation to release 300 global kids from poverty in Jesus’ name through child sponsorship. This partnership also allows us to sponsor a Child Survival Program in Kampala, Uganda. - Coached Children’s Ministry staff in launching a successful and growing Awana mid-week program- Journeyed to East Asia to develop a strategy to reach the unreached. This was Mud Creek’s first attempt impacting an unreached group in the 10/40 window.

- Remodeled Pre-K environment to be more attractive to young families and conducive to kids learning styles. Recast vision for the PreK ministry to be more Gospel centered and focused. Implemented background checks, security protocol, policies and procedures that protect kids. Standardized this safety system across all program windows. - Help develop a special needs Sunday School class that has developed into Hope Academy. Hope Academy is a weekday program that ministers to this special group on a daily bases. - Divided the Children’s Ministry into primary and elementary departments with specific “Gospel growth goals” for each group. Started two more Sunday School hours that brought the total to three. Standardized all three hours providing the same quality of excellence at each. Implemented volunteer background checks and a kid check-in/check-out procedure increasing parental confidence. - Recognized adolescent development and divided the student ministry into Middle and High School groups. This move allowed for more intentionality in the discipleship process. Purposeful weekly programming, summer camps, retreats and missions trips were developed for each age graded group. - Lead effort to restructure adult programing that mirrored children and student programing so a true family ministry philosophy could be communicated. This helped avoid parents simply dropping their kids off at church. Our structure now represents the value of supporting parents instead of substituting for the family.

Grew a youth group from 15 to 300, at evangelistic events, in two years. Developed the II Strategy of Youth Ministry which is very intentional and incarnational. Transitioned from having “youth group” three times a week to using weekly gatherings to accomplish biblical purpose. After developing this strategy into a curriculum it has been taught at Fruitland Bible College for the past 15 years.

Trained hundreds of church leaders in this unique two year college that is part of the North Carolina Baptist State Convention. The college is made up of students of various ages, backgrounds and ministry experience. Connects with alumni to discover and coach them in multiple ministry contexts.

Cast vision for a biblically driven, highly relational ministry. After developing relevant student programming, recruiting and equipping multiple volunteers that loved Jesus and students, this ministry experienced tremendous health and growth. As Associate Pastor, filled pulpit in lead pastor's absence and participated in all elements of pastoral care. Conducted funeral and officiated weddings.
