As Cardiff City FC’s Head of Communications since 2015, I oversee all aspects of external and internal communications, including multimedia and social media channels, press and media relations, editorial and stakeholder engagement. I have been with the club for 15 years, starting as a Copy Sub-Editor and progressing through various media and comms roles.With a background in political theory and history, I bring a specialised perspective and insight to the communications and PR function of the club, as well as a passion for football and its role in communities and society. I have successfully led and implemented several campaigns and initiatives that have enhanced the club's reputation, visibility, and engagement with fans, partners, and the wider community. Some of my achievements include securing multiple media partnerships, launching a new website and app and coordinating the club's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. I have been Comms lead on a number of major profile stories at an international level.
