As a Lead, with Performance Engineering CoE Team within Wiley Global Technology organization, I'm responsible for performance engineering and testing of Wiley digital content applications within Product Technology and Content Management organization. Managing Capacity Planning activities for multiple applications to enforce infrastructure cost reduction.Utilizing load generating and performance monitoring tools such as HP/Micro Focus ALM - Performance Center / LoadRunner, SiteScope, AWS Cloudwatch, Dynatrace and Network Virtualization software for Application Performance Testing, Engineering and Tuning. Using ELK for application production monitoring and using it to identify and create true-to-life production simulation test scenarios. Leading a team of offshore and onshore test engineers, and responsible for handling multiple performance engineering and testing engagements and projects each month, with between 40 and 50 completed each year. Helped establish Performance Engineering CoE at Wiley, including evaluation, POC, selection and implementation of automation and load testing tools. Led the creation of Center of Excellence process and all supporting Performance Engineering CoE documentation.Involved in Application Performance Management, Predictive Performance Analysis, Capacity Planning and testing of Wiley's latest digital media application, including its digital Journals and digital Books publishing platforms, as well as its Knowledge and Learning applications and student school courses for applications and users based in USA, UK, and Australia.Supported Wiley’s New Jersey data center move to multiple data centers in Texas and in the AWS Cloud to achieve infrastructure cost reduction. Serve as an Administrator for HP/Micro Focus ALM /Performance Center with duties including coordinating and installing updates and fixes, creating new domains and projects. Responsible for the overall health of the tool by managing the lab within Lab Management Module.

As a member of Institutional Business Software Stress & Performance Engineering Team was responsible for creating performance scripts, running stress & performance tests, as well as deep diagnostics and in depth perfrormance data analysis and recommendations on performance related issues. Responsible for stress and performance testing over fifty different Web and Client/Server applications, and handling 30 to 40 complete engagements per year. Utilized load generating and performance monitoring tools such as HP/Mercury LoadRunner/Performance Center and Deep Diagnostics, on Windows and Unix platforms to model and analyze storage and system performance and resource usage data to highlight existing/pending/future system bottlenecks and make appropriate recommendations for optimal tuning. Current responsibilities also include managing a team of three other project leads in a Team Lead role.

Responsibilities included web portal performance management, analysis, tuning, design and architecture. Also responsible for load and performance tests as well as predictive perfomance modeling across multiple web portals. Tools used are LoadRunner Test Center and Mercury SiteScope.Worked on design and development of several web portals. These sites are built utilizing Java, JavaScript, XML and HTML. Participated in design, development and support of my company's members website - utilizing Java, JavaScript, HTML and XML. Participated in development and support of various websites using Java, HTML, and tools such as Visual Age, Dreamweaver and ClearCase. Developed and supported numerous Java Servlet Pages and HTML files. IBM WebSphere is used as a server side application environment for building and deploying all mentioned above websites.Developed and updated various graphics using Paint Shop Pro and MS Image Composer.

As a member of this Pharmaceutical CRO's Information Services team involved in development and maintenance of PowerHours System. This system is designed by using PowerBuilder as front-end and Sybase as the back-end database. Responsible for enhancements and technical support of relational database by using PowerBuilder and DBArtisan 2.56. Designed and developed a Missing Time Sheet application which allows the user to view employee's time sheets which were not submitted through the PowerHours system. Actively participated in Year 2000 compliance project. Participated in evaluation, remediation and validation of number of applications, including reprogramming of code and restructuring financial reports in Paradox and PowerBuilder. Managed a third party company's project to update a major financial system in order to achieve its Y2K compliance. The new application was developed in MS Visual FoxPro.
