CurrentOversees corporate objectives of wholesale diagnostic medical equipment company which conducts $8-$15 million inbusiness annually; strong familiarity with high-cost, six-figure equipment including MRIs, CT, X-Ray machines, etc.• Clients include prominent domestic and international medical institutions, such as public hospitals, university researchinstitutions, private doctors, and specialists; direct billing clients include Siemens Healthcare USA and Philips Healthcare• Provides direct, senior-level support to President regarding all internal business operations affairs• Supervises administrative assistant and related reception and office tasks (phone coverage, supplies, mail sorting etc.)• Oversees employee recruiting, hiring, engagement, disciplinary action, and terminations; submits third-party backgroundchecks for prospective employees; provides employment verification references for former staff members• Retains employment practices liability insurance; researched several options and reviews cost and coverage annually• Reviews performance evaluations and calculates incentives, commissions, and bonuses; tracks vacation and overtime• Administers payroll using Paychex, PTO accruals and timesheet verifications; verifies base salary, overtime, and bonuses• Distributes insurance benefits (including COBRA and IRAs) and negotiates best possible policies and plans for staff• Processes human resources and federal tax forms such as W2s, 1-9s, and 1099s• Highly knowledgeable of Department of Labor and Equal Opportunity laws and practices, including 2015 minimumwage increases, Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), FMLA, HIPAA, Defense of Marriage Act, and Title 7• Using Quickbooks software, generates quarterly and year-end reports for accounting and tax purposes; fulfills tax formssuch as 12/31s and 6/30s; accurately submits all required tax and filing documents to accountant in a timely manner
