Throughout 2023 the UK&I Workstation team achieved strong market share results, in particular CQ2’23 with #1 Total Workstation market share (39.3%). As a result of my contribution to these collective achievements I was awarded the UK&I PS Category Manager of the Year for FY23.

A large part of my responsibility is managing the forecast from a units, revenue and margin perspective, which involves driving key actions to ensure we are achieving our business objectives including sell in targets for IDC (market share) and internal metrics such as sell out & aged stock management. Uk&I Bps Junior Category Manager - Workstations, Cloud Clients & Retail SolutionsHp May 2020 - Apr 2022Palo Alto, Ca, UsI was responsible for executing the 4P’s of marketing across the ACS categories and channel inventory across distributors, including aged stock management. I was tasked to drive a successful channel engagement into HP’s reseller partners; alongside managing all sales and product queries. A large part of this role was product management including training the internal and partner facing sales teams on our ACS lineup and where we win against the competition. As part of this product management role, I was the interface between the ACS sales specialist’s and the CoE / GBU teams, on product feedback and future roadmap direction. -
Uk&I Partner Business Manager - Commercial ChannelHp Jun 2018 - May 2020Palo Alto, Ca, UsI managed 7 of HP’s fastest growing PartnerFirst Gold partners and delivered +38% Y/Y growth in commercial PC revenue across partner accounts (FY19 vs FY18). In this channel sales role I was measured on PC sales across the HP product portfolio. The role involved managing all aspects of these resellers’ HP business, from forecasting their quarterly sales, to reguarty visiting the accounts to engage with individual salespeople on enablement activity and product & sales process training. This role expanded upon my previous channel experience and greatly increased my understanding of how best to strategically engage with partner accounts to drive long term business outcomes. Part of this included quarterly business review (QBRs) with senior management from HP’s channel business and engaging with key stakeholders in each account to agree a mutual 5-point business plan. The role enabled me to develop my business acumen and organisation skills through engagements with different stakeholders within the partner accounts and by successfully managing the large volume & variety of queries, from the various partner sales teams across the UK. -

I was responsible for all Further Education Colleges within England & Wales. In this inside sales role I was measured on PC & Print sales across the HP product portfolio. I worked as a key contact between HP, its customer base and the partner community. The role provided me with a strong understanding of mid-market sales and the IT education market, whilst also providing an opportunity to develop my knowledge and experience of both hunting new business opportunities, through outbound customer calling and managing the significant volume of inbound partner opportunities, that typifies the annual peak education period. Whilst in this role, I grew the FE College account’s PC revenue by +37% Y/Y (FY16 vs. FY17) and developed my communication and negotiation skills with customers and partners. -

When one of the permanent members of the team left the Company, I was promoted to a more senior role in charge of the daily operation of the gondola. These roles required me to be an effective team player, be able to communicate at all levels, together with a degree of supervisory responsibility. -

This role demanded a high level of organisation and dedication but most importantly an ability to communicate with a range of people from senior teachers to my fellow peers. Following this I undertook some work experience helping the IT team with their summer maintenance program.
