Leading the implementation phase to strategically increase revenue production through philanthropy, new partnerships, and initiatives to a level in which Rutgers will be performing at scale, generating dollars and engaging alumni annually that will place Rutgers within the top 20 of large public, R1, power 5 universities. Oversight and direct supervision for multiple senior leaders and teams responsible for front-line fundraising, corporate philanthropy, foundation relations, alumni engagement, advancement operations (marketing, communications, research, gift administration, events, campaign, donor relations) and business operations (finance, facilities, risk management, human resources, talent acquisition, inclusive excellence).

Strategically recruited to serve as the organization's chief operating officer and lead the comprehensive strategic re-design of Rutgers Foundation's organizational structure and approach, focused on bringing a significant and sustainable increase to fundraising and revenue generation for the institution. Oversaw a diverse team of 100+ frontline fundraising and operations professionals. Our collaborative efforts forged strong partnerships with executive university leadership, Deans, and divisional leaders. In short order, we were able to bring clarity to Rutgers University's vision across various multidisciplinary and thematic domains, while re-launching Rutgers overall brand. Served as the Secretary to the Foundation Board of Directors, guiding the Board Chair and the Executive Committee through this preliminary redesign phase of the organization.

Served as the Foundation's chief operating officer systematically driving sustained increases in external contributions from $80M to over $300M annually, by leading an operational redesign and overhaul of the university's fundraising and advancement program. Promoted three times for continually overachieving expectations, meeting deliverables ahead of schedule, elevating employee performance, and designing new ways to increase revenues for ASU. Established multiple cross-functional teams (Foundation Initiatives, People Operations, Research & Evaluation, Presidential Advancement, Enterprise Development, and Systems & Technology) which played a pivotal role in our mission to advance ASU at scale. Our commitment to innovation and substantial achievements was acknowledged in 2020 when we were honored with the Association of Governing Board's Nason Award, underscoring the impactful contributions we made to the organization and the institution. Additionally, our consistent selection as a Top Company to work for in Arizona affirmed our dedication to fostering an exceptional and inclusive work environment for our employees.

Recruited to serve by the Board and Vice President, due to unforeseen higher level management changes three months into my role, I decided to pursue other opportunities. Secured the largest gift for Bobcat Athletics.

Increased auxiliary revenues by 63%, driving a stronger bond rating and the construction of a new $40M residential community which opened in 2017. Led and directed 7 residential communities, across 20 physical buildings. Increased year-over-year revenues through the redesign of auxiliary services and created new strategic partnerships with outside vendors.

Co-wrote and led the transformation of state post-secondary retention policy, drove state alignment policy on credit by exam (AP, IB, CLEP, etc.), and facilitated a variety of highly sensitive projects and initiatives aimed to advance the Governor’s statewide educational priorities.
