The Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) is a sub-unified command of the U.S. European Command (USEUCOM). It is responsible for planning special operations throughout the USEUCOM area of responsibility (AOR), planning and conducting peacetime joint/combined special operations training exercises, and orchestrating command and control of peacetime and wartime special operations as directed. Primary Task: Lead the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees based on consideration of all program parameters including difficulty of requirements and Joint Property Book Office (JPBO) staff experience, training, and abilities to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks. Serves as a facilitator providing instructions to team members on both technical work and administrative matters. Finds and implements ways to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to production, promote team building, and/or improve business practices. Monitor work progress and reviews work for completion providing training and guidance to ensure compliance and consistency. Assess the teams’ overall strengths and weaknesses and provides recommendations or solutions for process improvements. Reports individual and team accomplishments, problems, and training needs to the supervisor. Manages the team production and ensures assignments are completed within allowable time.
