CurrentRole and Responsibilities:-Oversee Synectics' sales, business development, and marketing activities-Build the sales program's resources as necessary, and provide customer service and professional communication training to new team members-Identify new business opportunities to expand and strengthen the company-Cultivate and sustain long-term client relationships -Collaborate with management and project team members to ensure outstanding client experiences -Create marketing strategies that attract and retain clients, build awareness of company capabilities and services, and generate revenue-Seek out, identify, and research business opportunities in new markets-Prepare and submit proposals in various roles from subcontractor to prime government contractor-Negotiate contracts and agreements, and work with project team to ensure timely contract deliverables are met-Identify and participate in key conferences to increase the company's visibilityAccomplishments - Sales: (2018-2023)-Instrumental in 300% company revenue growth in first five years as business development manager-Led efforts to win FUSRAP Environmental Data Management Software (FEDMS) program, currently in option year two of four potential option years-Grew client base by more than 40 commercial clients (appx 3x growth)-Grew project footprint to more than 100 ongoing unique projects (appx 4x growth)-and more!Accomplishments - Operations and Project Management:-Created and facilitated workload forecast and management plans improving project oversight, client satisfaction, and project costs-Implemented and led an ongoing customer service and communication training program with quarterly discussions and monthly "tips"-Facilitated company reorganization of project teams to better streamline daily operations to handle rapid revenue growth, and ultimately improve client satisfaction-Take on and learn new roles (such as project manager) as necessitated by personnel shifts
