I principally guided operations, in addition to executive SVP, Technology responsibilities. The primary objective was to transition the corporate focus to ensure application of a national elevation dataset would meet newly-penetrated market needs.► Reduced operating budget more than 50%, from $40M+ to ~$18M, while driving the percentage of the total operating budget from 70% to less than 50%.► Established SOA-based web services capability enabling delivery of elevation data to address customers’ needs for flood models, cell tower line of sight and 3D terrain models. ► Defined and implemented a company-wide risk management process to provide visibility regarding the highest-risk items and installation of requisite mitigation strategies.
