For the new product development, I had to ensure that the product could be used with existing product as well as conforming with local changing code and design requirements. In product maintenance, I updated plans for a variety of reasons:code requirements, jurisdiction requirements, option coordination, value engineering, and division feedback. During my time with MDC, I frequently had to work on product from different regions of the country. This required me to be flexible with drafting standards, product standards, as well as working with different division leads. Additionally while at MDC, I had the opportunity to help in developing drafting standards and create tools to assist the other drafters in their work. Show less

While at Village Homes I managed and developed new product, I maintained current product, and revised product for current market trends and jurisdiction requirements. My other responsibilities were related to CAD Management. I was charged with developing and maintaining CAD Standards for use within Village homes as well as for use by our consultants.
