Veteran Career And Transition Services Program Manager

Phenix City, Alabama, United States

I coach service members through their military transition in two ways:1) Constant connection. Everyday I talk to at least 10 service members about what they need support with right now. Sometimes they need a resource, a contact at a company, guidance through the military clearing process, or someone to celebrate with. I love all of these moments because I come to you, meet you where you are, and support you in that moment. 2) I provide functional resumes to at least 2 service members every week. Together, we determine what they want and how they can get there. I am honest in this; if you want IT, but have no experience we are going to talk a lot about how you plan on becoming an IT professional. The resume is not a wish list of what you want to do; it is a record of what you have done. To that end, the functional resume we write together will be a quantifiable compilation of your greatest hits. We write this in a clear way that civilian employers understand.
