Employment MattersFor 30 years, I have helped employers avoid the courthouse by providing clients with prompt and sound guidance consistent with their business needs and in compliance with state and federal employment laws. When litigation arises, companies need a lawyer with a significant and proven jury trial record. With more than 20 jury trials, a handful of additional bench trials, and a dozen or so arbitrations, clients can be confident I protect their interests at every stage of litigation and trial. Much of my employment matters practice involves: (1) discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; (2) overtime and minimum wages compliance under the Fair Labor Standards Act; (3) trade secret, non-competes, and claims for breach of fiduciary duties. I often assist clients through DOL investigations and have handled hundreds of EEOC matters. I represent executives and upper management in contract negotiations, transitions to new opportunities, and when necessary, in litigation to collect the money owed to them.
