    In Early 2011, Tabcorp demerged; I was insourced from HP to work for Echo Entertainment (The Casino, Entertainment + Hotel arm of Tabcorp). During my time in the role the number of Linux servers has grown to over 350, spread over several data centers with a good mix of Physical/Virtual/Cloud.Technologies I have implemented:• Red Hat Satellite – Automating large scale deployment builds and errata management and easy patching of environment, including a proxy server for a remote site. Provides patching currency visibility.• Puppet Enterprise configuration management / Automation – Puppet is used to create users and centralise the administration config files such as sudoers, ntp.conf and password policies. It is also central to the AWS setup for deploying and configuring applications, allowing zero touch servers, eliminating human error. Created re-usable code to be used across different environments with separate hiera data for each environment.• AWS/Cloud building zero touch deployments using puppet/user data. ELB Auto Scaling. Building environments for projects, assessing suitability and implementing cloud technologies at Echo.• Web Stack (LAMP) – built web site platform for the casinos external sites. AWS, ELB, RHEL, Apache, PHP, Varnish, memcached, APC. MYSQL RDS, Incapsula WAF solution.• Pre Tabcorp demerger, also supported HPUX and Red Hat systems for Keno for QLD/NSW. Involved in the following projects:• Transitioning AWS from CTO team in to Operations teams – building servers, zero touch, automation, scripting. solutions for the operational teams• Improved and documented process to allow level 1 and 2 teams to take load off the level 3 team.• Designed and built a new test environment, better test environments have led to more stable production environment. • Consolidated Red Hat subscriptions to co-term saving 35% on the 3 year renewal.• Providing technical details to the architects for the design docs.• Designed and set up a Splunk environment
