I am currently the head of my own training and consulting company. I am available to teach Microsoft and Networking courses, develop custom courseware, labs and lab VM envrionments. I also perform on-camera video on demand training.

Responsible for training individuals and organizations in their transition to AWS cloud services. Other responsibilities include reviewing new course material and the development of review questions.

Joined Global Knowledge as a full time instructor after 7 years of contracting for them. Primary tasks involved classroom training, virtual training, and course development. Courses developed include: Managing a Virtual Environment, Migrating to Server 2008, Managing and Maintaining Server 2008, Managing a Server 2008 Group Policy Environment (available in the Microsoft Courseware Library) and custom labs for many Microsoft courses delivered by Global Knowledge. I developed all of the content, slides and labs for these courses while interfacing with the Global Knowledge curriculum department for editing.While at Global Knowledge, I was also the lead instructor in our rollout of a hybrid learning environment where we taught both in-person and remote students together using Adobe Connect. I was responsible for teaching other trainers how to most effectively deliver classes using this hybrid model. In addition, I was involved in selecting the equipment and software used for deliveries.In addition to delivering in-person and virtual training, I was one of the lead instructors involved in producing on-demand video content for Microsoft courses at Global Knowledge. I recorded video as the SME in a professional studio setting that is now used to deliver over a dozen courses in Microsoft's on-demand library. The content recorded included both slide presentations and voice-overs for Camtasia demos.I was the lead instructor at Global Knowledge in our rollout of Zoom as a virtual classroom tool. I delivered the first pilot courses using Zoom before the platform was opened up to our remaining instructors. In this project, I was involved in determining the best hardware and software configuration and the training of other instructors on how to most effectively use Zoom.

Since 2000, working mainly for Global Knowledge, Inc. Major roles include classroom instruction on all Microsoft Server and Workstation products. Developed the Global Knowledge IIS 6.0 course. Also performed hands-on consulting services for many small and medium sized businesses.

Also responsible for maintenance of classroom LANs including installation of network operating systems, applications, hardware and cabling. Started the Microsoft Authorized Technical Education Center at Dow Jones. Developed course material for use in the classroom environment.

Duties involved telephone technical support for customers and technicians during the installation of financial information systems in stand-alone and networked environments. Coordinated the shipment, delivery, and installation of computer and communications hardware, including the placement of land-line, satellite, and wireless media.
