Through my role as Managing Director with Wentworth Strategy Group, I lead a team of experienced consultants in the delivery of expert advice and execution for CEOs, boards of directors, and senior leaders in Canada and across the world. I serve as an Executive Advisor to Empowerment Squared, a Canadian charity dedicated to empowering newcomer, refugee and marginalized youth and communities in Canada and across Africa, and serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Health Trust and the Co-Chair of the City of Hamilton Mayor’s Task Force on Transparency, Access and Accountability. I have also supported hundreds of clients and community organizations as the President of marketing agency FlyPrint. Currently an Industry Professor focused on strategic management with the McMaster University Master of Communications Management (MCM) program, I am a member of the African and Caribbean Faculty Association of McMaster (ACFAM) and support the Canadian Caribbean Institute (CCI). I have served McMaster University in many capacities, including as President of the McMaster Alumni Association, as a member of the Board of Governors, and overseeing advancement activities at the DeGroote School of Business.I appreciate the opportunity to have had valuable educational experiences, including an MBA in Strategic Market Leadership from the DeGroote School of Business, achieving the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors at the Rotman School of Management, and executive studies at Harvard Business School and the Schulich School of Business.As a public speaker, I present to a diversity of audiences on strategy, governance, leadership, entrepreneurship, and reputation and relationship building, and appreciate having been recognized by CBC, Business Link Media, the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, the Reverend John C Holland Awards, and the McMaster Alumni Association for leadership contributions.
