Having spent the past 15+ years on the West Coast, Mark has become a trusted partner in building and scaling teams globally. Mark specializes in working with venture and growth stage clients to find and establish new hubs and develop Global Location Strategies. He has worked with the leadership of companies such as Planet DDS, Bazaarvoice, isolved and eBay. Prior to joining Crosshaven as a Partner, Mark has spent over a decade with Invest Northern Ireland in San Francisco. As SVP of the West Coast, including Silicon Valley, Southern California, Texas, and the Pacific Northwest. He was responsible for all aspects of strategy, business development, and sales. Under his leadership, the team secured more new US investment from the West Coast than any period in Northern Ireland’s past. Previously he established a channel strategy for Invest Northern Ireland focused on Venture Capital and Private Equity Investors. Leveraging this investor network, Mark has worked with many companies as they developed their US market entry strategy and raise capital in the U.S. Mark sat on the board of the British American Business Council, and in 2020 was recognized as one of Irish America’s 40 under 40. Mark holds a BSc in Human Resource Management and a Diploma in Industrial Studies from Ulster University. Originally from Co. Down, Mark currently resides in California with his wife and young family. Outside of work, Mark is an avid golfer and sports fan.
